Delaware

What does one do when stuck in Delaware?

NOTHING!!!!

I am so bored! It has become painfully obvious in the past few weeks how my life is slipping away from me as I sit in my hotel room. My solution: Today I'm going to a weight watchers meeting in a part of Newark, DE that I've never been. I think it's in a mall. So maybe I'll get a good walk in and do some people watching.

This weekend I'm going to decorate our house for fall and have a few hours ALONE in the house. This never happens! I usually have to share the joint with David and Tristan. I'll have to post some picture when I'm done.

I started a running program which solves the boredom problem except I've been waking up at 4:45 am to get on the treadmill. I'm never bored in the morning...just in the evenings. So this doesn't solve my evening boredom problem.

I thought about bringing my scrap booking stuff but I really don't want to lug it across country. I have no desire to knit or even cross stitch. :( What's a girl to do??

  1. Not sure if that is rhetorical or if you are really asking...

    1. READ! Fiction (do you have a list of books you'd like to read? start from there or join goodreads and find out what your friends are reading or ask the influential and favorite people in your life what their favorite books are and then read them). Alternately- make a list of subjects you'd like to learn more about-
    2. Write letters- I don't know about you, but I jump for joy every time i recieve a REAL card or letter or postcard in the mail.

3.Do sit-ups and push-ups or yoga or basic stretching- buy a book (or let me know and I'll send you one for basic yoga poses). One can never stretch enough! Build muscle strength in addition to the C25K program!

    4. Volunteer- there are online and virtual volunteer opportunities that are out there in the world that would be perfect for you!

  2. I feel your pain! I've spent so much damn time in the hotel the last 2.5 weeks I could scream! Oh well. I'm gonna try to get out tomorrow and go explore in the car. I can't handle sitting here alone one more night!
