COUPONS!

I went shopping with my mom and sister today and we went crazy with all the coupons I've been collecting! It was kind of exciting. I won't lie. I was sort of pretending that we were on Extreme Couponing!

My mom and I sat and figured out that we had spent less than what we saved! We saved over $300 and we (by we I mean SHE) spent around $200 or so. The savings is a very rough estimate and was probably more than that. I had a coupon for every place we went. Everything we bought was already on sale.

It was really exciting!!

Down to a 6.8 baby!!!

Oh yeah! I brought my A1C down from a 7.7 to a 6.8. Normal range is up to a 6.

I just talked to the endocrinologist's office. The nurse said, "good job!!". Whew...I've asked her to as my PA to contact the fertility clinic on my behalf. She wanted it below a 7. They wanted it to be a 6. I'm hoping we can compromise!!!

PLEASE PRAY!!!!!!

86. Buy/Fix Front Door. DONE! Sort of...

I've really been bugging David to get me a new front door. I wanted a red one with a peep hole! Living in a twin home, we don't have a picture window (or any window for that matter) at the front of the house which means I can't see who is knocking at my door! I hate this! We mad a trip to Lowe's and we bought a peep hole rather than spending $100 plus on a new door. I'm pretty excited!!

82. Take a Zumba Class DONE!

I absolutely LOVE Zumba! I'm taking it at Health Pros in Fargo. I've always loved to dance and had been debating on taking a dance class. Zumba is the next best thing! It's an hour long work out and I don't even realize that it is an hour because it goes so quickly! I would recommend it if you haven't tried it yet!

67. Try sushi again DONE!

We went to Samurai on Sunday after church. I tried one of his tuna rolls. Yep, didn't like it. But at least I could cross this one off my 1001 in 101 list!!!

59. Bake chocolate chip cookies DONE!

I had a Lia Sophia party last week and I baked chocolate chip cookies...and they were flatter than the flattest pancakes you've EVER seen. I wish I would have taken a picture!

I'm sticking to cakes and cupcakes. I know I'm good at those!

Anna and Brian's Wedding in PA!

The weekend of April 1st we traveled to King of Prussia, PA for Anna and Brian's wedding. We drove to Minneapolis and flew out of there on Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon I got my nails done with Anna and her bridesmaids. It was so fun to be pampered.

Friday was a very busy day for me as I was her personal attendant. I had a lot of fun helping make her day very special.

Saturday we took a VERY annoying wrong turn which put us on a turnpike. We have no idea how these things work. The whole ordeal ended up costing us $50 plus because of the "lost ticket" getting on the turnpike aka we didn't know we were supposed to take a ticket. (P.S. How does one lose their ticket when they're in the car. There is no exit...and it's only 13 miles??) We were a half hour late returning the car which resulted in a late fee charge for that. We can't even say that it was a beautiful drive! I did get to say, "Hey! That's where I wanted to take you this weekend" as we passed the sign for Longwood Gardens.

At least our bad luck didn't end there, we got to Cincinnati (beautiful airport) and our flight back to Minneapolis was oversold. I was the first one to jump out of my seat to take the bump. We received $400 vouchers for taking a flight the next day. We stayed at a Marriot in KY (We can say we've been to KY now!). The only bad part is that we didn't get to spend anytime with David's parents. We're looking forward for our girls weekend/guys weekend in May!

Here are some pictures from the wedding!
